Recently, I concluded interviews with convicted rapist and serial killer Timothy Wayne Krajcir. The revealing and shocking dialogue between Krajcir and myself, along with a composite of his psyche evaluation and a historic account of his case, which kept investigators at bay for over several years, will be published in the first annual True Crime Serial Killers Anthology, due out later this year (’13). You can follow the developments of the Anthology by subscribing to http://www.rjparker.net/ or the Anthology Facebook fan page at https://www.facebook.com/TCSKAnthology?ref=hl .
I have been acquainted with the criminal acts and the minds of serial killers as I have been researching my current book, Dr. H. H. Holmes and the Whitechapel Ripper, but in those cases, the murderer(s) have been deceased for well over a century. It takes on a different twist when you actually sit across from someone who has murdered people and you can recall the media frenzy surrounding the case from your adolescence years.
To be presenting a first-person perspective in the Anthology regarding a demented serial killer Hell bent on destruction and carnage is both an honor and a curse. Since the interviews, I have experienced sort of a “connection” with the dark side of humanity and the diabolic acts some people are capable of committing. I would love to go into this further, but I cannot it is reserved for the Anthology. Sorry!
However, I will share this… The interview convinced me Timothy Krajcir experiences no more remorse for killing the nine women (spanning from 1977 – 1982) than he did when he committed the crimes. In fact, there are certain areas of the case he is quite proud of and takes pleasure in bragging about.
I sure do hope you follow the links I mention in this article and stay up to date on the current developments in the True Crime Serial Killers Anthology and Dr. H. H. Holmes and the Whitechapel Ripper. The most “cutting-edge authors in contemporary true crime” are collaborating on the Anthology and it shall prove to be monumental. Likewise, the intensive research in Dr. H. H. Holmes and the Whitechapel Ripper will forever change history and establish the Ripper and Holmes to be one in the same.
I look forward to meeting you on my journeys through the underground abyss of these shocking accounts of serial killers who have empowered themselves as deputies of torment and death. Though some live to tell their tales like Krajcir, many take the truths of their deeds with them to their graves like Dr. H. H. Holmes. While the unfortunate innocent victims have paid with their lives, there is a certain comfort in knowing the murderers have paid with their eternal souls!
